Therapy Billing Submission Service

Let Us Submit Your Therapy Claims for You

Already paying out-of-pocket or have insurance approval for therapy through a Single Case Agreement (SCA) or gap exception? Access to Coverage now offers a secure billing service to help you submit your therapy claims — so you can focus on your care, not the paperwork.

How It Works – Step by Step

1. Complete the Billing Signup Form

Click the Start Billing Now button to access our secure form. You'll provide:

  • Your insurance information
  • Your therapist’s name and contact info
  • A copy of your superbill(s) or therapy invoice(s)
  • Your credit or debit card for billing

2. Therapist Authorization Is Requested

Once your form is submitted:

  • Your therapist will receive a secure email request to authorize Access to Coverage to submit claims using their NPI number.
  • They’ll also receive a one-time verification call from Claim.MD (our secure billing platform).
  • Claims will not be submitted until this authorization is confirmed.

3. Claim Is Reviewed and Submitted

Once we receive therapist authorization, we:

  • Review your documentation
  • Submit the claim electronically via Claim.MD, a HIPAA-compliant billing platform
  • Send a confirmation email to you and your therapist each time a claim is submitted

4. You Get Reimbursed (If Eligible)

If your claim is approved, the insurance company may send reimbursement directly to:

  • You (in most cases), or
  • Your therapist (if their information is registered to receive payments)

Access to Coverage does not receive or handle insurance payments.

  • Diagnosis code(s)

Therapist’s contact information so we can request their authorization

Your current insurance information

Superbills may be:

Email to [email protected] (by you or your therapist)

What We Don’t Do

We can’t submit claims without your therapist’s signed authorization

We don’t guarantee insurance reimbursement

We don’t collect or process insurance payments — they go directly to you or your therapist

We don’t replace your therapist’s in-house billing, if they already submit claims themselves

Important Notes

We only bill after receiving your therapist’s signed consent.

Claims are submitted under your therapist’s NPI — they must agree to participate.

You and your therapist will both receive confirmation each time a claim is submitted.
